On Augst 13th, Mayberry was brought to the town of Fremont, NC to unveil a new stamp the honors classic television of the 1950's. Barney Fife, Ernest T. Bass, and the Mayberry squad car were all on scene to celebrate the occasion.
I was covering something in the area earlier that day, and since I was over an hour from the station I just made my way to Fremont to await the squad car. I had some time to kill so I walked around the block with my camera for a bit.
