Certainly worthy of filling up a negligible amount of airtime on News 14's daily schedule are the new recycling carts being rolled out (see what I did there?) by the city of Cary. Beginning today, the old and often inadequate green bins are being replaced by brown 65 gallon carts, resembling their 95 gallon green brethren we are all familiar with.

I wish the city would have decided to use these years ago. Willoughby Lane produced more recyclables than the meager green bins could handle. These certainly would have helped.
